Compare any two
The atlas has written comparisons for the pairs that deserve an essay — a dozen of them, each arguing a point. This is the other half of that job: put any two instruments next to each other and read the differences off the axes the site already declares.
Nothing here is written for the pair. Every line comes from the same tables the two product pages print, so a difference you see is a real difference in the atlas rather than an artefact of somebody's summary — which matters more in a comparison than anywhere else, because two columns of plausible facts invite you to look at the gap and not at either side.

What the rows mean
- How much it assumes is the same three-step scale the whole atlas uses, not a measure of how risky or how sophisticated the instrument is.
- The facts are each product's own summary box — asset class, instrument type, where it trades, who typically uses it. Where the two disagree, that disagreement is the comparison.
- Which risk decides counts the same five failure modes across both. Two bars at the same height mean the same mode decides both outcomes, which usually means the two instruments fail in the same weather however different they look.
